Worldwide Engineering + Operations Experience

Traton has operated and engineered in The United States, Bolivia, Argentina, Iraq, Mexico, Russia, and is currently planning a new operation with exploration partners in the Dominican Republic. We are experienced and capable of serving you anywhere in the world, either from location or in our office in Houston, Texas

We have extensive experience in most major production basins in the United States, including those in Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Louisiana, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma Texas, and Wyoming. In these areas, we have performed drilling and engineering services, as well as operations.

Traton also has experience in the Choco Basin of South America. In Bolivia and Argentina we drilled a several deep wells, and we also prepared an extensive drilling bid in the northern region of Mexico. Traton is currently assisting DEMP in developing a plan to explore for hydrocarbons in the Azua-Ocoa Basin in the Dominican Republic

In the Kurdistan region of Iraq, Traton has assisted in locating and procuring a 2,000 HP diesel electric rig to be shipped to the Kurdistan region of Iraq late 2009. Traton also assisted in a successful response to a drilling tender to drill 2 wells and 3 optional wells.

Traton captured an opportunity in Russia, conducting feasability studies and preparing logistical and operational plans for Samson.
